Kim Newman

 

Kim Newman is a New Jersey native who migrated to south Florida in 2002 and has never looked back.  She was immediately drawn to the warm weather and decided to permanently trade in her snow shovel and gloves for a pair of flip flops and a beach cruiser.

 

After managing a doctor’s office in the northeast, Kim decided upon arrival to Miami to obtain her mortgage license as the business was booming at this time. After a brief stint in that industry she realized she wanted more than just the 9-5 office life and began to think about her next career move. 

 

Kim entered the hospitality field at a trendy south beach hotel and it was this opportunity which allowed her to see and be a part of many lavish events and functions.  Over the next several years Kim took on many roles mainly in the food and beverage industry and began to realize just how much of an impact a successful event can have on a client.  Another opportunity quickly arose as a catering and event manager and she knew that she had found her newest passion.  Working closely with clients and providing the perfect experience gave her a great fulfillment and she began to brainstorm how to take this one step further.  Her goals and vision truly became a reality when she became a Certified Wedding and Event Planner and then started her own Personal Concierge and Home Watch Service, Consider it Done!
